Key Responsibilities:

As an Environmental Acoustics Engineer, you will leverage your knowledge in environmental planning and impact evaluations, acoustic modeling, regulatory adherence, and monitoring within the environmental and mobility sectors. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Utilizing industry-standard software to model noise levels
  • Executing sound and vibration assessments
  • Conducting site visits for data gathering and regulatory evaluations
  • Engaging in noise monitoring initiatives
  • Facilitating client communication and resolving issues
  • Providing mentorship to team members and aiding in business development strategies
  • Supporting business growth through proposal development

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Familiarity with environmental legislation and regulations
  • Proficiency in noise and vibration evaluation, monitoring, and modeling
  • Experience with relevant industry software and tools
  • Technical expertise in engineering is preferred
  • Eligibility for P.Eng. designation and possession of a valid driver's license are required
