Job Summary

CIMCO Refrigeration is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Business Partner to support our defined client groups through a full range of human resource guidance. As a key member of our Corporate Human Resources team, you will be involved in the development and implementation of progressive and effective programs, solutions, and initiatives for the assigned client group(s) as well as the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and guidance on Talent Management initiatives for assigned client groups, ensuring organization priorities and goals are successfully integrated and achieved.
  2. Employee Relations Expertise: Serve as a key advisor and/or resource for employee/labour relations on a national basis, providing expert knowledge of employment-related legislation and application across Canada and/or USA.
  3. Full-Cycle Recruitment: Conduct full-cycle recruitment and selection for assigned client group(s), building a talent pipeline and ensuring the best candidates are hired for key roles.
  4. Employee Development and Engagement: Support and mentor client group leadership in the development and deployment of effective employee performance/development strategies and processes, driving employee engagement and retention.
  5. Disability Case Management: Assist with Disability Case Management (non-occupational), ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  6. Training and Development: Participate in the needs analysis, planning, and coordination of employee training and development courses, ensuring employees have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  7. HR Support: Respond to employee requests regarding current policies and procedures and various HR-related matters for both union and non-union groups, providing expert guidance and support.
  8. Compensation and Benefits: Assist with compensation and benefits administration, ensuring fair and competitive compensation packages for employees.
  9. Policies and Procedures: Participate in the design, development, roll out, and training of employment policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  10. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline or automate processes to continuously improve service delivery, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  1. Education: Post-Secondary Education in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 7-9 years of Human Resources experience on a national/international basis, with expertise in employee/labour relations, recruitment, health and safety, disability management, compensation, benefits, and training.
  3. Skills: Excellent leadership, problem-solving, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to operate effectively both tactically and strategically in support of short and long-term business priorities.
  4. Language: Fluency (oral & written) in French would be considered an asset.
  5. CHRL Designation: CHRL designation is an asset.
