About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Structural Steel Drafter to join our team at Apex Structural Design Ltd. as a Detailer - Structural Steel Drafter. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in steel fabrication and detailing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare engineering designs and drawings for steel fabrication projects
  • Develop and prepare design sketches and documentation packages
  • Examine drawings for conformity and errors
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure accuracy and quality of designs
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in steel fabrication and detailing
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
