Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Structural Steel Drafter to join our team at Apex Structural Design Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing engineering designs and drawings, developing and preparing design sketches, and completing documentation packages and drawing sets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare engineering designs and drawings using CAD software
  • Develop and prepare design sketches and documentation packages
  • Examine drawings for conformity and errors
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure accuracy and quality
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in steel detailing and drafting
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including Tekla and Autodesk REVIT
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
