Overview of the Role:
As a Northbridge Risk Services Specialist in Commercial Insurance, you will prioritize client satisfaction while delivering exceptional risk management and loss prevention strategies. Your expertise will play a crucial role in educating clients and minimizing potential risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough site assessments and engage in client interviews to identify hazards and implement effective controls.
- Collaborate with Underwriting and Brokers to establish best practices and serve as a Subject Matter Expert in your field.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education or relevant industry experience in fields such as architecture, interior design, real estate, or construction.
- A minimum of years' experience in areas related to residential appraisals, claims, restoration, or construction.
- Proficiency in onsite structure measurements, blueprint interpretation, and APEX drawing software.
- Strong understanding of risk and insurance management principles.
- Familiarity with NFPA standards and building/fire codes.
- Level 1 Infra-red thermography certification is advantageous.
- Progress towards CRM or CIP designation is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is a valuable asset.
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
