The Application Administration Technician will provide technical support and maintenance for our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) suite and Learning Management System (LMS). This role will be part of a team of 3 people, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our digital tools.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide on-site technical troubleshooting to staff and teachers, investigating technical feasibility and safety of requested digital educational and administration tools.
- Software Maintenance: Execute day-to-day standard operating procedures, including onboarding new staff, assigning security roles, and granting access to Omnivox modules.
- Documentation and Training: Create, draft, and maintain up-to-date documentation and user guides on Application Administration software and procedures.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work with the analyst on enhancements and implementation of new modules and functionalities, and provide assistance to technicians assigned to 1st level support.
- Education: Minimum of a college diploma (DEC) with an appropriate field of specialization (Computer Science Techniques) or a diploma whose equivalence is recognized by the competent authority.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience relevant to the duties of the position.
- Skills: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, good knowledge of English, and functional French.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and produce accurate results, with a high degree of adaptability.
