Claims Manager

We're seeking a seasoned Claims Manager to join our growing Atlantic Property team. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll play a critical role in driving quality claims management, employee engagement, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and communicate a clear vision for the team to support Atlantic Property objectives.
- Lead and motivate a large team of employees, including Unit Claims Managers and Consultants.
- Oversee recruitment and development of employees.
- Establish and refine best practice workflows.
- Prepare and follow up on operational budgets.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve KPIs and targets.
- Ensure adjusters maintain quality work standards.
- Make decisions on loss reserves and claims payments.
- Participate in strategic projects and present to senior executives.
- University degree or relevant experience.
- 5+ years management experience.
- 7-10 years of claims experience and/or related industry experience.
- Claims adjuster license required.
- Proven leadership skills and excellent communication skills.
- CIP (Chartered Insurance Professional) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of property insurance and policy applications.
- Bilingual English and French is considered an asset.
