Senior Sales Associate/Key Holder
The Key Holder role is an essential component of our team. This individual thrives on engaging with both internal and external clients, demonstrating exemplary service and sales practices while continuously seeking improvements. The Lao Feng Xiang Key Holder possesses exceptional communication abilities and collaborates effectively with colleagues, management, and brand representatives to enhance business outcomes.
Sales Excellence and Client Engagement: Strengthen customer relationships to foster long-term loyalty and increase spending. Consistently meet or surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Develop and nurture new and existing customer connections while implementing a strategic client action plan. Drive sales through key product categories, particularly in gold and jadeite. Collect valuable customer information to facilitate personalized interactions and enhance future opportunities. Proactively address and resolve customer concerns to ensure an outstanding experience. Act as a store ambassador, upholding the LFX standard of excellence by responding courteously to all inquiries, whether by phone, email, or in-person. Support significant company and local events as well as product launches. Leverage hospitality and store amenities to deliver extraordinary experiences for our clients.
Consistently elevate the in-store experience by creating memorable moments. Serve as a Brand Champion on the sales floor, managing escalated issues, making customer service decisions, and exemplifying sales and service behaviors. Oversee the team in utilizing hospitality to craft unique experiences, ensuring customer expectations are consistently met.
Leadership and Team Collaboration: Be a collaborative team member, demonstrating respect in all interactions with peers and management. Ensure effective cross-functionality in key operational and sales areas. Proactively engage with management to identify areas requiring additional focus or training. Manage multiple tasks efficiently to complete daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities on time. Seek opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the store environment. Share innovative ideas with management. Exhibit enthusiasm and commitment as an LFX Champion by presenting a polished appearance and demeanor. Support all critical business initiatives and strategies with a strong emphasis on product knowledge and adherence to company policies.
Operational Efficiency: Execute daily operational tasks to support the achievement of store sales objectives. Ensure compliance with all LFX security protocols during store operations. Complete all routine tasks with 100% accuracy, including Daily Inventory Counts and Monthly Inventory reports. Utilize the POS system to ensure all sales and labor are accurately recorded. Collaborate with management to respond effectively to customer inquiries.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
* Previous experience in retail or luxury retail, or relevant customer service experience (e.g., hospitality).
* Proven ability to achieve sales goals.
* Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, customer service expertise, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Experience working with a diverse clientele.
* Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Outlook/email.
* Authorization to work in Canada is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
* A college or university degree.
* Graduate Gemologist certification or completion of Gemological Institute of America (GIA) coursework is preferred.
