We are seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Healthcare Center Operations Leader within our organization.

The Healthcare Center Operations Leader is accountable for overseeing the professional and administrative functions of the center's daily activities. This role involves assigning, directing, supervising, and coordinating staff to ensure the delivery of affordable, high-quality healthcare services. The leader is responsible for preparing the center's budget, managing budgetary controls, and overseeing the site's human resources to guarantee that personnel are adequately trained, their competencies are regularly assessed, and evaluations are conducted.

This position serves as the organization's representative in matters related to licensing and regulatory compliance. The leader will measure and assess programs and processes within the center and actively participate in the organization's Quality Improvement Program.

Effective communication with various business units, external community organizations, and regulatory agencies at both state and federal levels is essential. The leader is expected to be an active and visible member of the community and represent the organization effectively.

Collaborating closely with the Director of Operations and other management team members, the Healthcare Center Operations Leader will:

  • Lead and manage the healthcare center while supporting the organization's vision of quality healthcare and exceptional customer service.
  • Articulate the organization's mission, vision, and goals at the site level, ensuring effective communication of these directives to the staff.
  • Oversee all billing and collection processes, ensuring staff are trained in local, state, and federal billing regulations.
  • Manage the delivery of patient services, including reviewing physician schedules and forecasting data.
  • Recruit, supervise, and direct health center personnel to ensure efficient operations and high-quality patient care.
  • Undertake various special projects that may involve analyzing information, identifying issues, recommending solutions, and preparing reports.
  • Understand and enforce organizational policies and procedures related to personnel and operations.
EDUCATION
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Services, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience related to the responsibilities outlined above.
  • Alternatively, 10 years of directly related experience may substitute for the Bachelor's degree.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
  • A valid driver's license is required.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE
  • At least 1 year of management experience or 2 years of supervisory experience is necessary.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in an outpatient care setting.
SKILLS
  • Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to establish and maintain rapport with patients and providers from diverse backgrounds; team-oriented.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and training techniques.
  • Positive professional demeanor.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 20 pounds and pushing up to 50 pounds (on wheels).

  • High manual dexterity is required.
  • Must be able to perform physical activities such as bending, squatting, sitting, standing, and reaching.
