Dining Room Supervisor

At Polos Social Lounge, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dining Room Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that high-quality dishes are served to our customers.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent service.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet demand.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for our management team.
- Prepare and submit reports on dining room operations, highlighting areas for improvement and suggesting solutions.
- Work closely with our chef to prepare food order summaries, ensuring that our menu offerings are aligned with customer demand.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that our customers receive their orders promptly and efficiently.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
