Essential Qualifications:

  • Completion of a College Diploma in a Respiratory Therapy Program
  • Successful completion of the CBRC examination
  • Possession of a General Certificate of Registration with the CRTO
  • Current certifications in NRP, ACLS, and BCLS
  • Proficient communication skills in English
  • Basic proficiency in computer operations
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Capability to execute essential job functions
  • Strong attendance and performance history
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively collaborate with the healthcare team

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

  • PALS certification
  • CRE certification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver respiratory therapy services to patients across all age demographics
  • Assess patient conditions and propose appropriate treatment strategies
  • Educate and support patients and their families
  • Encourage ongoing quality improvement in patient care
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation
  • Conduct Electrocardiogram (ECG) assessments
  • Administer pulmonary function evaluations
