Collingwood General and Marine Hospital (CGMH) is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend treatment plans
• Provide respiratory therapy coverage to the hospital, including the adult, pediatric, and neonatal population
• Teach and counsel patients and families
• Promote continuous quality improvement
• Perform timely and accurate documentation
• Perform Electrocardiogram (ECG) tests and conduct pulmonary function testing

Requirements

• College Diploma from Respiratory Program
• CBRC exam completed
• General Certificate of Registration with the CRTO
• Current NRP, ACLS, and BCLS certifications
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally
• Basic computer skills
• Dedication to professional growth and development
• Ability to perform all bona fide duties of the position, including physical demands such as moving and transferring patients

Preferred Qualifications

• PALS certification
• CRE certification
