POSITION SUMMARY
The primary role of the Store Manager is to serve as a pivotal leader within the LensCrafters framework. This position is responsible for achieving key performance metrics by integrating the Brand Narrative and ensuring the seamless execution of the customer journey.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrates an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional Customer Service by ensuring that the LensCrafters team adheres to the Sales and Service Process.
- Exemplifies the Diamond Service Principles and Service Vision with every customer interaction.
- Provides practical training and mentorship to team members utilizing Company-provided resources.
- Evaluates store financial performance and offers strategic recommendations to enhance retail profitability.
- Aims to achieve 'Far Exceeds Expectations' across various performance indicators, including:
- NPS – Net Promoter Score
- % Sales to Plan
- Customer Footfall
- Store Profitability
- % Training Saturation
- Key Performance Metrics, including exam growth and retention
- Identifies and recruits high-quality personnel.
- Anticipates staffing requirements using the labor scheduling model.
- Handles administrative tasks, including payroll, inventory oversight, and technical applications.
- Inspires team members to deliver a customer experience that surpasses expectations as noted through the NPS feedback.
- Collaborates with the Doctor of Optometry to enhance business partnerships and joint planning.
- Follows Company policies regarding inventory management and safety protocols.
- Implements the LC Inventory Management System and Order Tracker as part of the global POS strategy.
- Ensures adherence to all Company-approved safety initiatives and maintains compliance with established standards.
- Conducts monthly safety assessments of the store premises and reports any regulatory agency contacts promptly.
- Maximizes Optometric collaborations through active participation in various initiatives.
- Maintains a safe and enjoyable working environment for all associates and customers.
- Takes pride in the store's visual presentation and executes directives to convey a consistent brand message.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years in a management or supervisory role.
- Thorough understanding of operations, processes, and business implications.
- Strong negotiation and influencing capabilities.
- Proficient in team building and management.
- Knowledge of current optical theories and merchandise.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Strong mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Sales proficiency.
- Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators.
- Ability to manage time effectively under tight deadlines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- State licensure (if applicable) and/or ABO Certification in non-licensed states.
- Certification as a LensCrafters Final Inspector.
- Completion of the LensCrafters Quality, Fitting, and Adjusting Program.
- Prior experience in customer service and retail environments.
- Familiarity with current store merchandise.
- High level of business acumen, including detailed knowledge of the LC Dashboard.
