Food Service Supervisor

Mama Mia Italian Kitchen is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, ensuring that they are working together effectively to provide excellent service to our customers.
- Train Staff in Job Duties: Train our kitchen staff in their job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
- Estimate Ingredient and Supplies: Estimate the ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have everything we need to provide excellent service to our customers.
- Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet quality control standards, providing our customers with an exceptional dining experience.
- Maintain Records: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Work Setting: Restaurant
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, combination of sitting, standing, walking
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, excellent oral communication, team player
