Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Harvey's/Swiss Chalet. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our dining rooms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting their full potential.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high standards, addressing any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, as well as prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
