Food Service Supervisor

Mama Mia Italian Kitchen is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards.
- Train Staff in Job Duties: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all staff are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Estimate Ingredient and Supplies: Estimate the ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet demand.
- Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the high standards that Mama Mia Italian Kitchen is known for.
- Maintain Records: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights into our operations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
- Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, excellent oral communication, and team player.
