About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at D Dhillon. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients.
  • Assist clients with medication management, ensuring they take their medications as prescribed.
  • Document client progress and provide regular updates to our team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • First Aid Certificate and Personal Support Worker Certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
