Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technologist to join our team at Riverbend Veterinary Hospital. As a key member of our veterinary care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our veterinarians and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with physical examinations, patient assessment, and medical procedures
- Prepare and maintain patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and test results
- Provide compassionate care to hospitalized patients and their owners
- Assist with surgical procedures, including preparation, assisting, and patient recovery
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously and maintain a calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations
- Problem-solve and seek guidance from veterinarians and other team members as needed
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary care techniques and technologies

Requirements
- Completion of a Veterinary Technologist or Animal Health Technologist program
- Experience working in a veterinary care setting, preferably with a focus on animal health and wellness
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
