Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate freight services in accordance with company and government regulations.
  • Plan and schedule pickup and delivery times.
  • Work with carriers, transporters, and distributors to manage schedules.
  • Monitor and report shipment status to clients.
  • Manage multiple deliveries, handle special requests, and develop new sales strategies to improve business.
  • Resolve freight discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Respond to client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Maintain positive and productive relationships with clients.
  • Identify and contact qualified carriers for freight services.
  • Negotiate contracts and rate agreements with carriers.
  • Communicate with current and potential clients to find new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with multiple carriers.
  • Ensure freight documents are completed and approved before transport.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in freight brokerage and logistics.
  • Bilingualism in French and English (oral and written).
  • Customer service-oriented.
  • Team player.
  • Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PC Miller, and Link Logistics systems.
