We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Global Finance, Regulatory Risk Governance group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the overall success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to ensure compliance with governing regulations and internal policies.
- Monitor and improve internal controls for Global Finance operations across Canada, IB, GWM, and GBM.
- Provide guidance and advice to Global Finance teams on regulatory compliance risk management.
- Design and maintain specific training programs to ensure ongoing compliance with changing regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Finance, Audit, Operational Risk, and Compliance Risk teams to implement and optimize our risk management model.
- 8+ years of experience in Finance, Audit, or Risk environments.
- Professional Accounting designation (CPA) is preferred.
- Solid understanding of financial and management reporting principles.
- Strong knowledge of risks impacting banking and finance, internal controls, and evaluation.
- Strong analytical, data visualization, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Solid communication skills, with ability to interact with various Finance units at different management levels.
