Food Service Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Petro-Canada gas station. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe food preparation environment.
Key Responsibilities- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
- Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and handle customer transactions in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, portion and wrap foods, and package take-out food to meet customer demands.
- Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas to maintain inventory levels.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.
- Personal Suitability: Demonstrate client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and a team player attitude to ensure a positive customer experience.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Will train on the job.
- Ability to work 35-40 hours per week.
- English language proficiency.
