About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at Petro-Canada gas station. As a Food Service Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Table and Chair Maintenance: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to ensure a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
  • Food Preparation and Service: Load buspans and trays, keep records of food quantities, package take-out food, portion and wrap foods, prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, serve customers at counters or buffet tables, and stock refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Customer Service: Take customers' orders, use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, and handle and store cleaning products.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, remove kitchen garbage and trash, and wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.

Requirements
  • Will Train: We are willing to train the right candidate for this role.
  • Permanent Employment: This is a permanent position with a regular schedule.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Hours of Work: 35 to 40 hours per week.
