Position Overview

The role of a Glass Installation Assistant involves supporting the installation and maintenance of glass products in various settings. This position is suitable for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and are comfortable with physical labor.

Educational Requirements

No formal education is required for this position, making it accessible to a wide range of candidates.

Work Environment

Employees will primarily work outdoors at different locations, which may vary from day to day.

Materials Handled

The primary material worked with in this role is glass, requiring careful handling and attention to detail.

Transportation and Travel

A vehicle will be provided by the employer, and candidates must possess a valid driver's license to fulfill job responsibilities.

Physical Requirements

Candidates should be prepared to handle weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as part of their daily tasks.

Tools and Equipment

Employees are expected to have their own tools, including steel-toed safety boots, to ensure safety and efficiency on the job.

Personal Attributes

Successful candidates will demonstrate flexibility, reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.

Screening Questions

Applicants will be asked if they are available for shift or on-call work, if they are legally permitted to work in Canada, and if they have prior experience in this field.

Experience Level

Ideal candidates will have between 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
