Indigenous Services Assurance and Accounting Manager

In a rapidly evolving business landscape, we're seeking a visionary leader to join our Indigenous Services team as a Manager of Assurance and Accounting. As a trusted advisor to our clients, you'll leverage your expertise to drive strategic growth, exceed expectations, and foster a culture of innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of audits, compliance tax engagements, budgeting, internal controls, and financial/accounting transactions for Indigenous communities and enterprises.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs, key risks, and opportunities for added value.
- Mentor and inspire team members to achieve professional and personal growth through clear guidance, constructive feedback, and impactful performance reviews.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure high-quality deliverables and exceptional client service.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business development opportunities and prepare compelling proposals to meet client needs.
- CPA designation
- 4 to 6 years of relevant public accounting experience
- Experience working with Indigenous communities or enterprises an asset
- Strong understanding of business, accounting, management, and practice development principles
- Proven people management, relationship building, and leadership skills
