Position Overview

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of 2628340 Ontario Inc. This role involves strategic planning and management of financial resources to ensure the organization's fiscal health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Management: Develop and oversee budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Policy Implementation: Establish and enforce financial policies and procedures.
  • Investment Strategy: Design and manage investment strategies to optimize financial performance.
  • Financial Monitoring: Monitor financial control systems to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Contract Management: Oversee contracts and ensure adherence to financial agreements.
  • Data Analysis: Supervise the collection and analysis of financial data to inform decision-making.
  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports for senior management.
  • Advisory Role: Provide financial advice and insights to senior leadership.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and instruct a team of 3-4 finance professionals.
  • Customer Service: Ensure high-quality customer service in financial dealings.
  • Human Resources Duties: Conduct personnel selection and performance reviews.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records and manage various accounts using both manual and computerized systems.
  • Payroll Oversight: Supervise payroll administration to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Project Coordination: Assign, coordinate, and review financial projects and programs.
  • Operational Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily financial operations.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in finance management.
  • Personal Attributes: Must demonstrate accuracy, dependability, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong oral communication abilities.
  • Work Environment: Public transportation is accessible, and a basic security clearance is required.
Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week.
