About the Role:

The Associate Brand Manager will play a key role in driving the growth and success of the Zabiha Halal brand. Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, this individual will be responsible for managing marketing support services, planning and executing marketing programs, and managing budgets and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute annual marketing plans to grow the Zabiha Halal brand, aligned with overall brand strategy, values, and personality.
  • Coordinate, implement, and analyze results of promotional materials, sales presentations, coupon programs, and in-store consumer promotions/contests.
  • Provide recommendations to cross-functional teams based on market trend data, competitors, retailers, and internal sales data.
  • Attend customer sales meetings to provide marketing expertise and represent the brand as required.
  • Complete monthly P&L tracker with commentary and utilize insights to determine next steps and course correction actions.
  • Support the Special Events team in adding value to marketing objectives assigned to each event.
  • Field sponsorship requests and questions, and lead the sponsorship strategy for the brand.
  • Plan and execute in-store promotions, retail merchandising, and other key customer programs.
  • Monitor and track spending on all projects by issuing POs, coding invoices, and tracking budget spend by period.
  • Work with the Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to develop the social media platform for the brand, including strategy development, annual plan development, execution, and analysis.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years marketing experience, preferably with a consumer-packaged goods brand.
  • College diploma or university degree in marketing.
  • Ability to travel as required, approximately 3-4 times a year for customer presentations or regional research.
  • Team-player with excellent leadership skills, able to motivate others, negotiate effectively, and interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present effectively.
  • Analytical, with problem-identification and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong math skills with an understanding of marketing math.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and effective multi-tasking is essential.
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office suite, as well as proficiency in AC Nielsen.
