Position Overview: As a Community Living Instructor, you will play a crucial role in guiding participants towards self-sufficiency. Your responsibilities will include providing essential life skills training and support to help individuals navigate daily challenges.

Key Qualifications:

  • 0-6 months of experience in caregiving or teaching life skills, which can include volunteer work.
  • A genuine passion for supporting others and enhancing their quality of life.
  • If lacking prior experience, mandatory training will be provided before engaging with participants.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Possession of a valid ID or driver's license.
  • CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment.
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray prior to employment.
  • Department of Justice clearance.

Physical Demands: The role requires effective communication skills, the ability to sit, stand, and walk regularly, and the capacity to lift and move objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Additionally, you may be required to drive during your assigned shifts.
