This role primarily serves the Business Professional Services, Public Sector, and Not-for-Profit sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your previous business development expertise for prospecting and generating leads among new and existing clients.
- Deliver an exceptional client experience by providing superior business and financial insights within a Client Relationship Team framework.
- Collaborate with a core group of specialized advisors to devise and implement a client engagement strategy tailored to each client's specific requirements.
- Exhibit portfolio management and risk assessment through the analysis of financial statements, identifying trends, monitoring risks, and evaluating credit restructuring options.
- Capitalize on RBC's expertise by recognizing referral opportunities and facilitating introductions to appropriate RBC partners.
What qualifications are necessary for success?
Essential Requirements
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial banking.
- Proven excellence in client-centricity, business development, and relationship management.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Skills in acquiring new clients, including articulating value propositions, generating leads, initial client contact, and seeking referrals.
- Familiarity with emerging communication technologies (e.g., web-based meetings, social media, Digital Banking, and Mobile Applications).
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in credit assessment, financial analysis, credit structuring/solutions, and deal presentation.
- Specialized industry knowledge from previous roles (e.g., real estate, healthcare, agriculture).
- A university degree, preferably in commerce, business administration, or a related field.
