About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and physically capable Moving Assistant to join our team at Gardewine. As a Moving Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of household goods and office furniture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all clients, ensuring a positive and friendly experience.
  • Load and unload household goods and office furniture in a timely and safe manner.
  • Participate in the packing of household items, adhering to all policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers and other team members to ensure seamless operations.
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner, complying with all Gardewine safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the achievement of company goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to perform physical requirements of the role.
  • Prior experience loading and unloading household/office furniture and specialty freight.
  • Proven history of working in collaborative teams.
  • Ability to lift, bend, twist, and carry heavy objects as required.
