We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at PB-23 DRYWALL & CONSTRUCTION LTD. as a Construction Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in all aspects of carpentry, from initial planning to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with building codes.
- Layout Preparation: Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Material Selection and Preparation: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to meet project specifications.
- Structural Assembly: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to ensure a sturdy and secure structure.
- Finishing Touches: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to complete the project.
- Cost Estimation and Management: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
- Maintenance and Repair: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments, including mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other facilities.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
- Language: Fluency in English.
