Job Title: Tile Setter
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at KH Renovations. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with tile. You will also mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel. Additionally, you will set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base, align and straighten tiles, cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools, pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout, and remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
Work Environment: Our team works in various locations, and the work is physically demanding. You will need to have attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field. You will also need to be able to work 40 hours per week and have a strong attention to detail.
