Job Title: Principal User Experience Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal User Experience Designer to join our team at Hasbro. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for defining, designing, and driving player-centric systems that deliver an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement design logic, flow, and layout of the user interface across the game and gameplay loops.
  • Define and communicate the UX vision to various teams to ensure consistency throughout the game.
  • Build functional prototypes and test concept features to eliminate friction points for players.
  • Determine the optimal inputs, controls, and behaviors to provide the best direction for the player and a consistent user experience.
  • Collaborate actively with various teams, including game design, UI, audio, art, narrative, and more.
  • Continuously test and adapt designs based on results.
  • Use usability tests and player feedback to improve overall user experience.
  • Explore ways to apply the latest UX innovations to the project.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in UX design.
  • At least one AAA video game title delivered in a User Experience Designer role.
  • Experience and passion for multiplayer, GaaS, and PVP games is a strong plus.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine is a plus.
  • Great video game culture.
  • Initiative to push boundaries and a strong desire to build something outstanding.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English.
