About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Laborer to join our team at SB GARDENING & LANDSCAPING SERVICES. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the beauty and integrity of our clients' outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Training
    • No formal education or certification is required, but a willingness to learn and develop your skills is essential.
  • Work Experience
    • We offer on-the-job training to ensure you have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this role.
  • Work Site Environment
    • You will work primarily outdoors, exposed to various weather conditions.
    • The work environment may be noisy and dusty at times.
  • Tasks and Responsibilities
    • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and maintaining trees and plants.
    • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain their health and appearance.
    • Cut grass and other vegetation to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
    • Rake and collect refuse to keep the work site clean and organized.
    • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
    • Lay sod or seed to create new lawns and gardens.
    • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the beauty of outdoor spaces.
    • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure their health and well-being.
    • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
  • Work Terms and Conditions
    • This is a permanent, full-time position, working 40 hours per week.
    • The work language is English.
