Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Kelly O`Bryans Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as supervising kitchen staff and maintaining inventory and records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring accurate tracking and ordering.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Organize buffets and banquets, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including ordering supplies and equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or food service environment.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with the ability to prepare and cook a variety of dishes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate kitchen staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
