Position Overview:

The Business Application Deployment Engineer is responsible for the implementation of enterprise application components, including the necessary infrastructure technology customization to configure these applications effectively. The applications in question are hosted on essential technology platforms such as Apache, Tomcat, WAS, OFSAA, OFSDF, FCCM, COMPLIANCE STUDIO, DIH, ODI, OAS, OBI, Oracle Catalogue Manager, PGX, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, among others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Business Technology Solutions partners, Infrastructure Solutions teams, and Test Planners to ensure the deployment and delivery of technology solutions that are dependable, scalable, and secure.

Required Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the IT Technology sector.
  • Expertise in Apache, Tomcat, WAS, OFSAA, OFSDF, FCCM, COMPLIANCE STUDIO, DIH, ODI, OAS, OBI, Oracle Catalogue Manager, PGX, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch.
  • Understanding of various clustering techniques and Cross Cluster Replications for Production and Disaster Recovery environments.
  • Hands-on experience with the aforementioned technologies, particularly in Unix and Windows environments.
  • Strong command of the Unix command line interface for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Ability to execute snapshot backups on demand and manage recoveries during batch processes and failures.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and maintain effective communication in screen-shared conferences on a daily basis.
  • Capability to manage multiple environments for troubleshooting, deployment, and configuration tasks.

Education:

A University Degree or a College diploma is required.

Demonstrated experience in a large, highly regulated enterprise IT environment is essential.
