**Job Summary:**

Highbrow LLC is seeking a highly skilled Application Release Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth deployment of our applications across various technologies.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Create comprehensive non-functional test plans for our applications, taking into account M/W and D/B technologies on a project-by-project basis.
  • Execute test plan scenarios using scripts, if available, to ensure seamless application functionality.
  • Conduct thorough non-functional testing, including operability, failover, and negative testing, to identify and resolve issues.
  • Develop detailed reports of test procedures, defects observed, and test result metrics to inform our development team.

**Requirements:**

  • 5+ years of experience in the IT Technology field, with a strong background in application deployment and testing.
  • Knowledge of our internal business practices and related tools/processes would be an asset.
  • Excellent change management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong experience with UNIX (AIX preferred) and Windows Server, with a solid understanding of WebSphere, Apache, and Tomcat.
  • Experience with Cloud promotions and knowledge of Azure and JBoss.
  • Knowledge of Confluence and Jira, with a strong understanding of Agile and DevOps tools and methodologies.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Exposure to SOA-based applications and IIS experience.
  • Knowledge of education and training programs, with a focus on continuous learning and professional development.
