Position Overview

The Guest Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role in managing all aspects of guest transportation between key meeting points and CMH staging areas. This position demands a strong attention to operational details and the ability to adapt to unexpected situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all guest exchanges and transfers to and from CMH staging areas and designated meeting points.
  • Handle administrative duties related to guest transfers and daily operations.
  • Manage guest and lodge communications concerning transportation logistics.
  • Coordinate the food and beverage service on the coach.
  • Serve as the primary contact for seasonal Transfer Coordinator staff accompanying guests.
  • Address guest inquiries with a focus on providing solutions.
  • Resolve logistical challenges arising from road closures and delays.
  • Create memorable guest experiences as the initial and final point of contact for CMH.
  • Assist in implementing CMH's health and safety protocols.
  • Support sustainability initiatives within CMH.
  • Participate in emergency response training and support as needed.
  • Provide assistance to guests and staff during field program visits.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a professional office environment.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record; Class 4 license and experience driving in winter conditions preferred.
  • Experience as a tour guide or in a leadership role within the service industry.
  • Background in high-end customer service is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the ski industry is an asset.

  • Ability to see projects through to completion and follow up on issues.

Working Conditions

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally.
  • Manual dexterity for operating a computer and office equipment.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Occasional travel to CMH areas and industry events may be necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

A competitive hourly wage will be offered based on qualifications and experience, along with vacation pay and potential opportunities for heli-skiing after meeting the required workdays. Additional benefits include health and dental coverage, eligibility for a Group Savings Plan, paid sick days, and opportunities for heli-hiking and heli-skiing.
