Pilot - Forest Fire Suppression

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced pilots to operate our fleet of aircraft, including the PA-60 Piper Aerostar and/or Cessna 208 Caravan, in support of our forest health management and aerial firefighting operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operate assigned aircraft in accordance with our Company Operations Manual and Standard Operating Procedures
- Adhere to instructions issued by officers of the Department of Natural Resources on fire suppression or instructions from the base manager when assigned to aerial application projects
- Report all items requiring maintenance on the aircraft as soon as possible
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the aircraft at all times
- Work in a team environment during long hours of standby throughout the forest fire season
- Re-positioning to other bases of operation may be required throughout the season
- Commercial Pilot License - Fixed wing
- Experience in a Piper Aerostar, Cessna Caravan, or aircraft equipped with a Garmin G1000NXI is an asset
- Preference will be given to candidates having experience with turbine engines and low altitude operations like aerial application or fire suppression
- Valid driver's license for travel within and outside the province
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Valid passport
