Yukon Venture Angels is seeking a visionary leader to drive the growth and development of our organization.
About Yukon Venture Angels
We are a volunteer-driven, not-for-profit organization dedicated to connecting passionate entrepreneurs with knowledgeable investors to drive economic growth in Yukon.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a community of angel investors and entrepreneurs to drive economic growth in Yukon.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand Yukon's private investment ecosystem.
- Champion local and external angel capital to support enterprises in Yukon and beyond.
- Participate in Canadian and global angel networks to stay informed and connected.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within a nonprofit or investment organization.
- Proven experience in strategic and operational planning.
- Technical proficiency in Office systems, contact management software, and remote working systems.
- Online community management skills and ability to build relationships with partners and networks.
