Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Associate Principal will play a pivotal role in shaping the design, execution, and facilitation of FinOps services, workshops, and client engagements. This position involves active collaboration with clients, offering advisory expertise, and contributing to thought leadership within the industry.

  • Client Collaboration: Engage proactively with clients to enhance awareness and foster positive outcomes across all facets of the business value chain.
  • Thought Leadership: Remain updated on the latest developments in FinOps and IT Financial Management practices, while contributing to the FinOps community.
  • Strategic Insight: Assist clients with a comprehensive understanding of strategic, technical, and cultural aspects to promote independent innovation.
  • Business Growth: Identify opportunities and promote FinOps services to both existing and prospective clients.
  • Service Development: Offer insights and direction in service innovation and process enhancement as a recognized thought leader.

This role necessitates a robust comprehension of business and technology strategies, along with expertise in change management and transformation challenges. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, coupled with experience in IT Finance or consulting within Cloud Advisory and IT Strategy Services.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience and certification as a FinOps practitioner.
  • Extensive consultative experience in IT Finance, Public Cloud Billing, and commercial agreements.
  • Proficient in IT Financial Management, Technology Business Management, and IT Asset Management.
  • An active participant in the FinOps Foundation and community.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects.
