About the Opportunity
Harbinger Network Inc. is seeking a seasoned Estimating Director to join their team in Ottawa. This leadership role offers a unique opportunity to drive growth and direction within the organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing all estimating functions. They will provide management, support, and assistance to the estimating team, ensuring accuracy and leadership that is critical to the profitability and success of the business.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- 10+ years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on commercial or industrial construction.
- 10+ years of experience with larger complex project estimates.
- A degree or technical diploma in Engineering or Construction Technology.
- Designated Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) and/or Construction Estimator Certified (CEC) is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of estimation methods and techniques.
- Strong knowledge of construction management budgeting, design-build, and lump-sum tenders.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with all personality types.
- Good client service and public interaction skills.
- Customer-focused, with the ability to respond promptly to customer needs.
- Effective verbal, writing, and interpersonal communication skills.
