Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our team at Peacock Wine Bar. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to the highest standards, following recipes and presentation specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict sanitation and food safety guidelines.
  • Assist in food inventory management, receiving and storing delivered items, and maintaining a prep list of station duties.
  • Collaborate with the Sous Chef, Chef, and General Manager to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Culinary diploma/degree is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of professional cooking techniques and knife handling skills.
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure, with excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Serve Safe certification is required.
