Job Summary:

The Grease System Operator is a key member of the Darling International Canada Inc. team, responsible for the safe and efficient management of used cooking oil (UCO) and equipment operation. This role requires a strong commitment to health and safety protocols, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offload used cooking oil from tankers and drums, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Filter finished product and load trucks with Meat Meal and Tallow, adhering to quality and safety standards.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in plant duties and support as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Manage work functions efficiently and safely, with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

  • Class G drivers' license
  • Provincial Secondary School Graduate Diploma or greater
  • Flexibility to work shifts as required
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong commitment to Darling Ingredients company values

Benefits:

  • $26.85 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours
