Delivery Director

KPMG in Canada is seeking a seasoned delivery leader to join our team as a Delivery Director. As a key member of our Oracle team, you will be responsible for leading complex, cross-functional projects and driving successful outcomes in our fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Delivery Strategy: Develop and execute project plans that align with business objectives and client requirements, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Resource Management: Effectively allocate resources, manage interdependencies, and optimize resource utilization to meet project needs.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
- Financial Management: Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans to ensure project success.
- Project Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project progress, monitor task assignments, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Project Reporting: Generate regular reports for senior management and clients, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate project processes, identify areas for optimization, and implement leading practices and lessons learned.
- Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and resources, ensuring stakeholders are informed and impacted parties are engaged.
- Business Development: Participate in business development activities, such as new project estimations, proposal responses, and client presentations.
- Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or project management, with outstanding academic credentials.
- At least 15+ years of experience as a delivery leader, leading complex, cross-functional projects.
- Experience with large-scale end-to-end transformation projects, including integrations and working with third-party application owners.
- Experience with end-to-end delivery leadership of enterprise solution projects, such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Professional certification, such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), is an asset.
- Prior experience in a consulting environment is preferred.
- Ability to think strategically, seeing the big picture before diving into details.
- Experience in building and managing a practice within a consulting firm.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, able to function independently with minimal supervision, and able to multitask in a fast-paced team environment.
- Demonstrated effective communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Strong commitment to professional client service excellence.
