Job Title: Senior Performance Analyst

Halifax Regional Municipality is seeking a highly skilled Senior Performance Analyst to join its Finance & Asset Management team.

The successful candidate will serve as a consultant and business solutions specialist, leading and implementing improvements in business processes and performance practices. They will monitor organizational effectiveness based on performance results and recommend solutions aligned with the business improvement cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support business units in driving the effective selection, development, implementation, and integration of analytics and KPIs.
  • Oversee the development of reporting dashboards and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate leadership and executive performance review meetings to drive actionable outcomes towards strategic, corporate, and service objectives.
  • Develop and maintain all corporate key performance indicators, analyze data, and create reports.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to complete corporate continuous process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a suitable combination of a degree and experience.
  • 5+ years' work experience in an analytical, strategic planning, or project management role, with experience in performance reporting, analyzing data, and process improvement.
  • Project Management and/or Business Analysis Certification.
  • Continuous Improvement Training/Certification is considered an asset.
