We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. As a key member of our Talent Acquisition team, you will be responsible for planning, sourcing, assessing, and qualifying external candidates to support business plans and goals.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, source, assess, and qualify external candidates to support business plans and goals.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Partners to identify and attract top talent.
- Exercise independent judgment to recommend the most important candidate skills and labour market knowledge to recommend process improvements.
- Make decisions on work methods to assess candidates using behavioural interviewing techniques to provide business partners with insights, benefits, and hiring risks.
- Manage a talent pipeline, acknowledge all applicants, and engage in regular communication to deliver a best-in-class candidate experience.
- Provide trusted advice to hiring managers by using various interviewing and assessment techniques to validate candidate experience levels.
- Keep up-to-date on labour market trends and competitor information, providing business partners with insights and recommendations that will improve the quality of external hires.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with leaders, internal partners, and candidates.
- Legally eligible to work at the location(s) specified above.
- Valid work or study permit (where applicable).
- Ability to complete an attribute-based assessment and other skills tests (such as simulation, coding, French proficiency, MS Office).
