We are seeking a professional and reliable individual to join our team as an RCMP Detention Guard. As a member of our team, you will provide services in a detention facility, ensuring the safety and well-being of prisoners and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular prisoner well-being checks and provide meals
  • Monitor prisoners using CCTV cameras and conduct physical checks at cell doors
  • Write detailed reports on prisoner activity and condition
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, sitting or standing for extended periods
  • Assist police members with prisoner searches, if required
  • Deal with people in difficult situations, maintaining a professional demeanor
  • Clean and prepare cells to maintain a safe and healthy environment

Requirements:

  • Be professional, reliable, and able to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check and RCMP Enhanced Reliability security clearance
  • Hold Emergency Level First Aid CPR/AED certification
