Prairieview Surgical Centre, a division of Clearpoint Health Network, is seeking a skilled RN – OR for a Monday to Friday schedule.
Prairieview Surgical Centre specializes in various fields including Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Cosmetic Surgery, Vascular, Urology, and Pediatric Dental.Benefits for Permanent Employees:

The RN collaborates with all members of the healthcare team, ensuring patient and employee safety by adhering to infection control protocols, medication administration guidelines, and regulations concerning controlled substances.
Documentation of patient care is performed accurately in the medical record.
The RN maintains professional and technical expertise by participating in educational workshops and engaging in professional organizations.
Additionally, the RN assists in the orientation and support of new staff members within the facility.
Compliance with all organizational policies and procedures is essential.
Completion of an accredited nursing education program is required, along with Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) perioperative nursing certification or completion of a post-secondary educational institution perioperative nursing program, or equivalent education and experience.
Operating room nurses may encounter challenging and high-pressure situations, particularly in emergencies.
During their duties, they may be exposed to blood, bodily fluids, infectious diseases, chemicals, and other safety risks.
Vaccination (including COVID-19 and others) is a job requirement unless a medical exemption is provided in accordance with the Saskatchewan Human Rights Act.
The Registered Nurse (RN) offers a comprehensive range of nursing services to patients and their families.
Core Responsibilities:
- Employ standard nursing processes, including thorough critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Provide education, counseling, and advocacy for patients and their families.
