Seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time temporary position in the Operating Room at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, with a focus on patient care assessment, planning, and evaluation.
Position Description:
Under the direction of the Manager of Nursing, the RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in the Operating Room.
Responsibilities:
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Operating Room
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care
• Develop and maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
• Perioperative Nursing/Registered Nurses advanced certificate
• Nursing diploma is acceptable
• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
• Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
• Provincial posting open to SUN members
Preferred Qualifications:
• Operating room experience
• 1st preference given to staff of fSaskatoon HR employees and its affiliates
