Job Summary
Cakeworthy is seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing Associate to join our team. As a Marketing Associate, you will be responsible for designing and implementing all aspects of our email and SMS programs, creating engaging content for social media, ads, blogs, and our website, and developing and maintaining a content calendar in collaboration with the marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Email and SMS Programs
- Design and implement all aspects of Cakeworthy's email and SMS programs to drive customer engagement and loyalty.
- Content Creation
- Create engaging content for social media, ads, blogs, and our website to showcase our brand's personality and values.
- Content Calendar
- Develop and maintain a content calendar in collaboration with the marketing team to ensure consistent and timely content delivery.
- Photoshoots
- Assist in photoshoots with setup, takedown, model sizing, and other related tasks.
- Digital Marketing Strategies
- Research and brainstorm ideas to elevate Cakeworthy's digital marketing strategies and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Influencer Marketing
- Work with the marketing team to monitor and maintain influencer marketing programs.
- Third-Party Meetings
- Participate in third-party meetings when required.
- Company Events
- Participate in planning and execution of company events when required.
- Administrative Duties
- Perform administrative duties as required.
Requirements
- Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
- Education
- Education in Marketing and/or Design is a plus but not required. High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Skills
- Prior experience using editing and graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Canva, Capcut, or similar applications.
- Experience using web platforms in the e-commerce space such as Shopify, email marketing, etc.
- Personal Qualities
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
